Steven M. Feldman

Steve Feldman is a corporate and transactional attorney with 35 years’ experience in both private practice and in-house legal departments. Steve started at a prominent New York law firm as an associate in the Corporate and Securities Department, and went on to spend more than ten years in the Legal Division of Mitsubishi International Corporation, serving as its Assistant General Counsel and the Assistant General Manager of the Division; for part of the time he simultaneously served as General Counsel to two large Mitsubishi affiliates. At Mitsubishi, Steve’s practice was largely transactional and included domestic and foreign project and infrastructure finance, consortium-based aircraft finance and distribution counseling. He later opened his own practice and for several years simultaneously served (on a full time basis) as Associate General Counsel to the registered investment advisor for the Third Avenue family of proprietary mutual funds and hedge funds, with roughly $30 billion under management, where he was responsible for large transactions and a wide range of contracts.
