Akihiro Matsuya (松谷朗宏)

Akihiro Matsuya has extensive experience with Japanese patents, focusing on technology including electrical, mechanical, material, semiconductor, and software. With a BE in Metallurgical Engineering and MS in Mechanical Engineering, Akihiro is especially qualified to work with clients in this area. His extensive knowledge of engineering allows him to effectively secure patents with specific technical requirements. His practice areas include Patents and International Protection.

Before joining Myers Wolin, he worked with one of the biggest patent law firms in Japan and has Bar Admissions to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as the Japan Patent Office. He is also a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA).
